Backend Technologist, Helsinki

Birdietime is looking for talented backend-focused web technologist to join our growing product team in Helsinki, Finland. If you’re interested in developing Finnish cutting-edge digital service for international markets, you are a great team player and have strong background in creating solid backend solutions for modern web services and applications, this job is for you!

Your role will consist of:

– Responsibility for backend technologies
– Developing current and future backend solutions
– Picking new technologies with the team
– Testing and developing testing methodology with the team
– Documentation of technology solutions
– Working closely with our CTO

To succeed as our Backend Technologist, you have good experience in:

– Modern API based microservice architecture

Marketing and Community Manager, Europe

Birdietime is looking for a marketing and community manager. This digital-savvy and golf enthusiast individual is responsible for all communications, PR, social media, events and content creation Birdietime. As community manager you will work with golf pros, players and our media partners.

The responsibilities include:

Content creation – writing blog posts, articles, newsletters, communications materials, and material for social media channels.

Social media marketing – Owning and creating Birdietime social strategy -creating, managing and growing Birdietime presence through blogs, Twitter, Facebook, and other strategically relevant online properties. Oversee design of social media assets (i.e.: Facebook timeline cover, profile pic, thumbnails, ads, landing pages, Twitter profile, etc.).

Public relations – managing incoming media requests and building relationships with golf journalists; creating, executing and measuring media campaigns.

Communications/marketing strategy –Responsible for creating strategic marketing/communications plans to provide direction for Birdietime public-facing communications.

Analytics & Problem Solving – Using Google Analytics, excel and other measurement tools to provide reports on metrics, and continually find ways to improve on those metrics through testing and new initiatives. Actively test and analyze creative, calls to action and landing pages to drive increases in volume.

Metrics – Build and analyze the community scorecard including qualitative and quantitative measurements. Include data from our social media listening tools, community metrics data, member polls/surveys, and other measurement tools. Provide insights gained to internal team and evolve strategies to improve member sentiment and community engagement to achieve business goals.

3-5 Account Managers, UK

If you’re the type that easily gets bored, this job is for you! You will hardly find two similar working days in this role, and you can make use of your multitasking skills!

Your job as a Birdietime Account Manager will include:

– Responsibility for a customer portfolio (golf professionals and golf clubs)
– Client meetings across UK (mostly at clubs)
– Continuous management of customer relationships
– Act as a contact person and customer support for customers (golf professionals) and users (players)
– Operational marketing activities together with our marketing team

To succeed as an Account Manager, you already have these skills:

– You play, follow and love golf.
– Excellent communications skills – both written and oral
– Customer service attitude
– Basic knowledge of Google and Apple tools and apps
– Basic knowledge of social media tools and practices

In addition, we appreciate if you already have:

– Experience within golf e.g. pro shop assistant, service manager at a golf club, golf instructor
– Experience from sales, account management, customer service or marketing
